The bleak weather continues. There has been little sunshine in these parts this winter. In fact there were a few light snow flurries today. Things should improve soon though and as the days start to get longer there will be more time to get out and explore. At least it gives me more time to watch the garden birds and we now have a few Goldfinches visiting the Nyjer seed feeder. This is the first time Goldfinches have regularly visited our garden, the feeder clearly doing the trick.
I now have to figure how to get a decent picture!
Like this one of the Grey Wagtail, which is still coming in regularly.
The 2.picture is great. Is that a worm in the beak of the bird?
Danke! It’s a dried mealworm Steffi.
My children were already birdsfed with meal worms. The keeper told us that is a little differentChild thought it was the meal worm for it and ate it himself. :yikes: Here the link.http://my.opera.com/wellisteffi/albums/show.dml?id=4680462
